Résumé
Peter Evans, directeur général de la Continental Bankcorp, accusé d'avoir acheté un jet pour sa société avec l'argent de renflouement versé par l'Etat, est tué au cours d'une tentative d'enlèvement ainsi que son chauffeur. Nichols découvre que le coupable est un ancien membre de la bande à Baader.
